Attorney Dennis Iulo of Dingmans Ferry, PA; ethical gremlin

The state of Pennsylvania presented John A. Evans with a law license in 1999

At the time of his misconduct, Denny was licensed to practice in New Jersey. Subsequently, the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Denny was convicted in a New Jersey court on two counts of knowing misapplication of clients’ funds. Put simply, Denny was convicted of illegally using his client’s funds for his own personal purposes.

As a consequence of his criminal convictions, the New Jersey Supreme Court disbarred Denny.

Several years later, Denny applied to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for a law license. Unbelievably, despite being disbarred by the New Jersey Supreme Court, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court granted Denny’s application for a law license.

Apparently, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court determined that Denny’s right to earn a dishonest living trumped the rights of the members of his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Denny practices at 232 Traverse Road in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania.
