Attorney Joseph Lawless Jr. of Ardmore, PA; ethical leprechaun

The state of Pennsylvania presented Joseph F. Lawless Jr. with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Villanova University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Wrote checks on insufficient account (rubber)
  • Convicted twice of driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Failed to report criminal convictions to State Bar as required
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Max by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year stayed suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Joe.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Joey practices at 119 Millcreek Road in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
