Attorney Ronald Hines of Elizabethtown, KY; ethical misfit

The state of Kentucky presented Ronald Hines with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Louisville Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  2. Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  3. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  4. Improperly turned over files to another attorney
  5. Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
  6. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  7. Failed to terminate representation when required to so act
  8. Failed to maintain client confidences
  9. Lack of candor towards trial court
  10. Acted unfairly towards opposing counsel

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary 120-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (June 2014), Ronnie practices at 201 North Main Street in Elizabeth, Kentucky.
