Attorney John Wagner of Amana, IA; repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented John C. Wagner with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in an improper business transaction with client
  • Improperly represented seller and buyer in same transaction
  • Economic harm suffered by client

As one would suspect this wasn’t Johnny’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for enaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Johnny practices with John C. Wagner Law Office in Amana, Iowa.
