Attorney Renauld Wagener of Ankeny, IA; convicted tax cheat

The state of Iowa presented Renauld J. Wagener with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Renauld guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Renauld was criminally convicted for failing to file an Iowa income tax return
  2. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  3. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  4. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  5. Engaged in illegal conduct involving moral turpitude

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Renauld by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Renauld practices with Snyder & Associates, Inc. as General Counsel at 2727 SW Snyder Blvd in Ankeny, Iowa.
