Previously, Buddy served two terms as the mayor of Providence; however, both terms ended in Buddy’s felony convictions.

In a lame attempt at levity, Buddy is now indicating that he may go for a trifecta; another term as mayor followed by a third felony conviction. If that happens, then Buddy will prove the truth of the old adage, “Three Strikes and You’re Out!”

Buddy told AP reporter Michelle R. Smith:

• “I’m an older guy now, and I’m changed in many ways.”
• “People know me in this city. They know who I am. They know what I’ve done.”
• “They don’t have to vote for me. It’s America.”

Of course if don’t vote for Buddy the Felon, then you might have to explain yourself to Buddy’s sidekick, John “No Nose” Difronzo.

I’m sure Buddy will be a hit when he appears at the Comedy Connection in East Providence and performs his impression of Albert “The Mad Hatter” Anastasia.

Congrats Buddy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
