The state of Alabama presented David Keith McWhorter with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the Birmingham Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly manage his trust account as required
• Improperly comingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to maintain proper trust account records
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Dave practices in the Gadsden, Alabama area.
