Attorney Dayna Burnett of Montgomery, AL; ethical misfit

The state of Alabama presented Dayna Renae Burnett with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from Jones Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Dayna guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly comingled client funds with personal funds
  • Repeatedly paid personal expenses with client funds
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Dayna by gifting her with a complimentary 45-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Dayna practices at 1430 I85 Parkway Street in Montgomery, Alabama.
