Attorney James Pratt Jr. of Camden, AR; repeat offender

 

The state of Arkansas presented James M. Pratt Jr. with a law license in 1974

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Jimmy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to advise client’s as to status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client requests for information
  • Failed to explain matter sufficiently to client to permit client to make informed decisions re: representation
  • Failed to expedite litigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Jimmy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to respond to client’s numerous requests for information
  • Failed to explain matter sufficiently to client to permit client to make informed decisions re: representation
  • Failed to provide client with required written fee agreement

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

In addition to the misconduct aforementioned, Jimmy previously received two (2) complimentary cautions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

 

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Jimmy practices at 144 Washington Street in Camden, Arkansas.
