Attorney Gary Steele of Montville, NJ; ethical leprechaun

The state of New Jersey presented Gary T. Steele with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Gary found it acceptable to direct the payment of $49,500 to himself from the proceeds of a real estate transaction in satisfaction of his claimed legal fees in unrelated matters. Gary so acted despite knowing that his client had not authorized the disbursement.

Gary also failed to promptly t urn over to his client the balance of the funds from the real estate closing as he was required to do.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey

Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Gary practices at 170 Changebridge Road in Montville, New Jersey.
