Attorney Wayne Powell of Cherry Hill, NJ; serial offender

The state of New Jersey presented Wayne Powell with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Wayne guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to prosecute client’s personal injury case
• Failed to communicate with client for seven (7) years
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Wayne’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) separate complimentary reprimands in 1995, 1997 and 2010 for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Wayne by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Wayne practices with Powell & Baltimore PC at 811 Church Road in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
