Attorney Anthony Picillo of West Orange, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented Anthony N. Picillo with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of New Hampshire Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Negligently misappropriated client funds
  2. Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  3. Intentionally lied to ethics investigators
  4. Failed to maintain proper records of client funds
  5. Borrowed $17,000 from client w/o reducing loan agreement to writing

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Tony practices at 50 Northfield Avenue in West Orange, New Jersey
