Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY): Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Dick. In the past, he has been the recipient of ten (10) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

In a never ending attack on Obamacare, Mitch recently (05/23/14) said he would try and repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) if he’s elected Senate majority leader.

However, the comedian didn’t say what would happen to the more than 420,000 Kentuckians who have obtained health insurance through Kentucky’s health care exchange.

Mitch the Comic then told reporters that the fate of the state exchange was not connected to the federal health care law. Of course the comedian well knew that Kentucky’s exchange wouldn’t even exit if weren’t for the Affordable Care Act that was solely responsible for the creation of the state exchange.

It is indeed quite comical to watch Mitch waltz around the issue of Obamacare. First he promises to repeal it and then he feigns ignorance as to how it would impact 420,000 of his constituents if he succeeded in repealing Obamacare.

Congrats Mitch; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Understood “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
