Judge Robert Scott of Ontario, Canada; moronic loser

Robert Scott was presented  with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Windsor Law School.

John teaches law at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.

Bobby sits as a Superior Court justice in the East Region-Hastings County in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.

The Ontario Court of Appeals spanked Bobby in regards to his overt bias in two criminal cases. Bobby’s unethical conduct led to the reversal of criminal convictions and costly retrials, all at taxpayer expense.

In its ruling, the Court of Appeal said in part:

• “This is the second time in less than one year that this court has allowed appeals relating to judgments of this trial judge on the basis of reasonable apprehension of bias.”
• “In both instances, public resources were wasted, great inconvenience to the parties resulted, and the integrity of the administration of justice was tarnished.”

The reversal came about because of Bobby’s improper conduct in asking the defendant while he was testifying if he understood what perjury was. The Court of Appeals agreed with defense counsel’s trial objection of Bobby’s biased conduct by saying, “We agree that the trial judge’s impugned comments gave rise to a reasonable apprehension of bias that fatally compromised trial fairness. It follows that there was a miscarriage of justice and a new trial is required.”

Just like the apologists for Judicial Misfits in the lower forty-eight, Bobby did not receive any punishment for his misconduct. Any judge who exhibits this type of incompetency as to the law has absolutely no business sitting in judgment of anyone.

Unfortunately, as we speak (ca. May 2014), Bobby remains sitting on the bench.
