Gov. Mary Fallin (R-OK): Today’s “Humanitarian” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Gov. Mary Fallin (R-OK)

Today’s “Humanitarian” Award Winner

Mary duped the voters in Oklahoma into electing her as their governor in November 2010.

Over the past twenty-nine (29) years, Mary has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Put simply, she has relied on government employment.

Recently (04/14/14), Mary singed into law a bill that prohibits cities across Oklahoma from establishing a mandatory minimum wage and employee benefits, which includes vacation or sick leave days.

It is clear that Mary’s asinine law is nothing more than a naked attack against the backers of an initiative in Oklahoma City to raise the city’s minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour, which would be the same as President Obama’s federal minimum wage proposal.

As one would suspect, Mary defended her punitive action by falsely claiming that raising the minimum wage would harm small businesses and result in higher levels of unemployment.

In truth, if Oklahoma passed a law requiring that elected officials including the Governor had to possess an I.Q. of at least 85 in order to hold a public office, that would without a doubt cause a serious level of unemployment among state legislators and statewide officeholders in Oklahoma.

Congrats Mary; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Humanitarians”; you are far too humble.
