Attorney Thomas Fay of Washington DC; unethical moron

The District of Columbia presented Thomas Fortune Fay with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The District of Columbia Bar Counsel found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to provide competent representation (Moron)
2. Faield to act with due diligence (slacker)
3. Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
4. Failed to explain matter necessary to allow client to make informed decisions re: representation
5. Failed to provide client with required written fee agreement

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Professional Responsibility punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary informal admonition.
