Rep. Vance McAllister (R-LA): Today’s Public Official Misfit

In November 2013, Vance succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Monroe, Louisiana area into electing him as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Vance used the same family values, upstanding Christian campaign strategy that U.S. Senator David Vitter did in duping the voters.

Recently (04/07/14), the Quachita Citizen newspaper of West Monroe, posted a copy of a surveillance video that showed Vance kissing a woman in his congressional office in Monroe, Louisiana. In the video, Vance is shown turning off the lights and then kissing a woman for about thirty seconds. The woman was married as was Vance (ca. 1997 with 5 children) and she was a longtime employee of Vance.

After the tape was published online by the Quachita Citizen, Vance apparently met with fellow adulterer, Sen. David Vitter and Rev. Jimmy Swaggart in order to put forth a sham defense to screwing around on his wife. Towards that end, Vance spewed forth the following Swaggarisms.

• “There’s no doubt I’ve fallen short and I’m asking for forgiveness.” (Swaggart and Vitter already forgave him)

• “I’m asking for forgiveness from God, my wife, my kids, my staff and my constituents who elected me to serve.”
• “Trust is something I know has to be earned whether you’re a husband, a father or a Congressman.”
• “I promise to do everything I can to earn back the trust of everyone I’ve disappointed.”

Had Vance not scammed the voters by falsely claiming to be devout Christian and a honorable family man, then most folks likely wouldn’t have much given a damn if he was screwing the help. However, Vance and his fellow hypocrite, Sen. David Vitter are disgusting losers who have the audacity to attack anyone who doesn’t agree with their sham family-value scams.
