Attorney Frank Potts of Florence, AL; ethical dwarf

The state of Alabama presented Frank Butler Potts with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to segregate client funds from personal funds
  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2014), Frankie practices with Potts & Young Attorneys, LLP at 107 East College Street in Florence, Alabama.
