Attorney Craig Sandling of Austin; serial offender

The state of Texas presented Craig F. Sandling with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law College.

A panel of the District 9 Grievance Committee found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Craig was hired by a client to appeal the revocation of his parole. Several months later, Craig received a letter from the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles wherein they stated they had voted to deny the motion of Craig’s client.

Making matters worse, Craig didn’t notify his client of the denial by the Board of Pardons and Parole until nine (9) months after the denial was received by Craig.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Ike’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand and two (2) stayed suspensions of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2014) Craig continues to practice in the Austin area.
