Attorney Richard Tholstrup of Houston; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Richard Joseph Tholstrup with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law College.

A panel of the District 4-E Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dick found it acceptable to knowingly offer or use evidence that he knew to be false and therefore engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Dick’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 1-years stayed suspensions of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary fully probated 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.

As we speak (ca. April 2014) Dick practices at 440 Louisiana Street in Houston, Texas.
