Attorney Luro Taylor of Houston; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Luro C. Taylor with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law College.

The 145th Judicial District Court found Luro guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to communicate with clients
  2. Failed to respond to ethics complaints (Up Yours, said Luro!)
  3. Failed to appear for scheduled court hearing
  4. Failed to withdraw as counsel of record after being fired
  5. Negligence led to client being monetarily sanctioned by court

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Luro’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Luro by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2014) Luro practices at 503 Gammon in Houston, Texas.
