Attorney Alan Schnitzer of Los Alamitos, CA; ethical misfit

The state of California provided Alan Mark Schnitzer with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

The California State Bar Court found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with bar investigation (Up Yours, said Alan!)
  • Committed multiple acts of misconduct
  • Failed to perform legal services competently (Moron)
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries

In one matter, Alan found it acceptable to alter the date on a summons and complaint to make it appear as if he had filed the lawsuit within 2-year statute of limitations.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Alan by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Alan practices at 11278 Los Alamitos Blvd in Los Alamitos, California, which is located in Orange County.
