Attorney Robin Carr of San Diego; serial offender

The state of California provided Robin Chandler Carr with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from California Western Law School in San Diego.

The California State Bar Court found Robin guilty of the following misconduct.

Robin’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2007

Robin violated probations conditions attached to a 2005 private reproval imposed for the illegal practice of law. She filed two quarterly reports late, and did not file three reports at all. She also failed to attend ethics school as required.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Robin by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the California State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Robin. 

Robin’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2008

Robin again failed to comply with the probation conditions as a result of her prior misconduct, which are as follows:

• Failed to meet with state bar probation officials
• Failed to submit three quarterly reports on time
• Failed to provide mental health evaluation from licensed psychiatrist

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Robin by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

Robin’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2012

Robin admitted that she failed to comply with probation conditions attached to a prior disciplinary order by:

• Failed to provide her home address
• Failed to provide medical waiver to probation office
• Failed to respond to probation office inquiries (Up Yours, said Robin!)
• Failed to timely submit a treatment plan
• Failed to submit quarterly mental health reports

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Robin by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2014), Robin practices with the Law Office of Robin Carr at 6136 Mission Gorge Road in San Diego, California.
