Fox News Host Martha MacCallum: Today’s “Tina Fey” Award Winner

Martha is employed as a host on the Fox News Comedy Network. During a recent (03/05/14) rant, Martha decided to feign approval of fellow comedian, Rep. Darrell Issa’s treatment of Rep. Elijah Cummings during Darrell’s comedy skit involving former IRS official Lois Lerner.

After airing 7 minutes of Issa’s hyperbolic (BS) defense to his unprecedented mistreatment of Rep. Cummings, Martha cutoff Cummings’ response after 40 seconds.

Martha the Comic then spewed forth the following one liner:

• “We’re trying to give equal time to both of these gentlemen.”

In truth, Martha allowed Issa 10 times more time on the air then she did Cummings.

Seemingly, Martha would argue that in determining the intelligence of a news host, Ten (10) actual I.Q. points for Fox Hosts should be the same as Thirty (30) I.Q. points for MSNBC hosts.

In other words, if the combined I.Q. of Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell and Ed Schultz is 383 (128 individually), then the combined I.Q. of Megyn Kelly, Sean Hannity and Gretchen Carlson of 210 (70 individually) should be elevated to 383 so as to make things appear to “be equal.”

Congrats Martha; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
