Attorney John Wysolmerski of Rutland, VT; Ethical leprechaun

The state of Vermont presented John A. Wysolmerski with a law license in 1980.

The Vermont Bar Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonest, deceit or misrepresentation
  2. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  3. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  4. Failed to carry out a contract of employment
  5. Knowingly made a false statement of fact or law
  6. Engaged in illegal conduct involving moral turpitude

Johnny’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defense

Johnny had the chutzpah to claim that depression caused him to become a serial liar. However, Johnny’s psychologist testified at the disciplinary hearing that Johnny has a capacity to lie, and that capacity can increase or decrease depending on stress, but it doesn’t go away.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Johnny practices at 189 Crescent Street in Rutland, Vermont.
