Attorney Peter Morrissette of St. Johnsbury, VT; ethical misfit
The state of Vermont presented Peter J. Morrissette with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Boston College Law School.
The Vermont Bar Court found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to provide required notice to client re: conflict of interest issues

Altered fully executed legal documents in quit-claim deed

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

Clients (victims) suffered injuries as result of Pete’s misconduct

Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. March 2014) Pete practices with Morrissette & Neylon, LLP at
190 East Avenue in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
