Attorney John Cotton of Las Vegas; ethical dwarf

The state of Arizona presented John H. Cotton with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Creighton University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found John guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to communicate with client
  2. Made a false statement to a third person
  3. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  4. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  5. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  6. Failed to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Johnny’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), John practices with Cotton Driggs Walch Holley Woloson & Thompson at 400 South 4th Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada.
