Attorney John Hession of New York City; serial drunk

The state of New York presented John Joseph Hession with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Several convictions for driving under the influence (DUI)
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on honesty and trustworthiness

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Disciplinary Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
