Attorney Douglas Breidenbach Jr. of Pottstown, PA; ethical misfit

The state of Pennsylvania presented Douglas B. Breidenbach Jr. with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Villanova University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  2. Failed to abide by client decisions re: scope of representation
  3. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  5. Failed to explain matter to extent necessary for client to make informed decision regarding representation
  6. Collected an illegal or clearly excessive fee (cheater)
  7. Engaged in a conflict of interest
  8. Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after being fired
  9. Failed to expedite litigation
  10. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Doug’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Doug practices at 1800 East High Street in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
