Attorney Dennis Mark of Scranton; Dufus, ethical misfit

The state of Pennsylvania provided Dennis J. Mark with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to return client phone calls
  2. Failed to consult with client re: means to achieve client objectives
  3. Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
  4. Failed to abide by client instructions re: objectives of representation
  5. Failed to keep clients informed as to status of legal matters
  6. Charged or collected a clearly excessive fee (cheater)
  7. Failed to provide client with required written fee agreement
  8. Commingled client property with personal property
  9. Failed to notify clients of receipt of funds owed to clients
  10. Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after discharge
  11. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  12. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Denny by gifting him a stayed complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Denny practices at 108 North Washington Avenue in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Warning: Denny does not carry legal malpractice insurance
