Attorney Aaron Denker of Philadelphia; convict felon

The state of Pennsylvania provided Aaron David Denker with a law license in 1977.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Aaron guilty of the following misconduct.

Aaron pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering in federal court.

In exchange for a fee, Aaron assisted his client and his client’s associate in a scheme to launder a $100,000. The scheme involved converting cash from illegal drug sales into various negotiable instruments, each in denominations less then $10,000 to avoid I.R.S. reporting requirements.

Aaron was paid $6,500 for his criminal services.

Aaron served 19 months of a 27 month prison sentence in a federal prison and four months in a halfway house in Philadelphia.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Aaron by ordering that he be disbarred.

Several years after he was disbarred, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court voted to reinstate Aaron the Felon’s law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Aaron practices at 2033 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
