The state of Connecticut provided Alan M. Barry with a law license in 1976
The Statewide Grievance Committee found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Alan failed to act with due diligence in regards to his representation of a client in a divorce action.
Alan failed to maintain a letter of protection on his client’s behalf during the time he represented her.
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Alan’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) separate complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Alan by gifting him with a fourth complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. February 2014) Alan practices with Alan Barry & Associates, LLC at 5 Shelter Rock Road in Danbury, Connecticut.
