Star Telegram (TX) – Feb. 26, 2008 – Ethics complaints filed against local lawmakers

Dave Palmer, a California man who calls himself "The Watchdawg," filed ethics complaint against more than 20 Texas lawmakers for campaign finance violations yesterday. Four local Republican lawmakers - State Sen. Chris Harris of Arlington and State Reps Todd Smith of Euless, Phil King of Weatherford and Linda Harper-Brown of Irving - made the list.

Their alleged missteps include using campaign money to pay for dry cleaning (King) and gym membership fees (Smith).
Visit his site and scroll down to the section titled "Texas Reporter" for all the details. A PDF of all the different ethics complaints Palmer has filed is here.
