Attorney Craig Furusho of Honolulu; repeat offender

The state of Hawaii presented Craig K. Furusho with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to timely file required papers in probate proceeding
  2. Failed to comply with court rules
  3. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to communicate with client
  5. Failed to keep client informed as to status of legal matter
  6. Negligent conduct caused injury to his client (victim)
  7. Failed to provide accounting to client in timely manner
  8. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Craig’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Craig practices at 888 Mililani Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
