Attorney Andre Wooten of Honolulu; repeat offender

The state of Hawaii presented Andre S. Wooten with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Andre guilty of the following misconduct.

Andre found it acceptable to knowingly and intentionally submit a declaration to a U.S. District Court with an electronic signature of the person affixed to it, that Andre absolutely knew the person had not, in fact, approved of the contents of the declaration or authorized his signature to be affixed to it.

Moreover, Andre fully intended to dupe the District Court into believing that the declaration and signature to it were in fact valid.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Andre’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Andre by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Andre practices at 1188 Bishop Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
