Attorney Jeffrey Arndt of Duncan, BC; ethical misfit

The Law Society presented Jeffrey R. Arndt with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Society found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly handle client funds
• Engaged in conduct to improperly avoid collection efforts
• Failed to properly record trust account transactions
• Engaged in “off the book” transactions to avoid tax consequences
• Engaged in dishonorable conduct that cast doubt on his integrity

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 As we speak (ca. February 2014) Jeff practices with Jeffrey R. Arndt, Law Corporation at 281 Canada Avenue, in Duncan, British Columbia.
