► Attorney S. Austin Johnson of Orem, UT; ethical elf

The state of Utah presented S. Austin Johnson with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from George Washington University Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Roberto guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to communicate with client
  2. Failed to decline or terminate representation when required
  3. Violated or attempted to violate disciplinary rule or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
  4. Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
  5. Failed to notify client of relocation of his office
  6. Failed to provide key documents to the client as requested
  7. Client was injured due to S. Austin’s conduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished S. Austin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) S. Austin practices with Johnson Law Associates at 359 East 1200 South in Orem, Utah.
