Attorney J. Kent Holland of Sandy, UT; ethical misfit

The state of Utah presented J. Kent Holland with a law license in 1976.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Roberto guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to safeguard client property
  2. Violated or attempted to violate disciplinary rule or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
  3. Failed to cooperate with ethics investigation (Up yours, said J. Kent!)
  4. Failed to provide accounting of funds to client
  5. Failed to explain to client what happened to client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished J. Kent by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) J. Kent practices at 1446 Pimlico Place in Sandy, Utah.
