Attorney Nathan Drage of Salt Lake City; ethical misfit

The state of Utah presented Nathan W. Drage with a law license in 1988.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Nathanl guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to safeguard client property
  2. Failed to communicate with client
  3. Engaged in a conflict of interest
  4. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  5. Failed to advise client to seek independent advice re: conflict of interest
  6. Failed to properly explain matters to clients regarding representation
  7. Wrote at least nine (9) checks on insufficient account (rubber)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Nathan by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Utah Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Nathan.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Nathan practices with Nathan W. Drage Law Office PC at 10 West Broadway in Salt Lake City, Utah.
