Liberty Counsel’s Matt Staver: Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Liberty Counsel’s Matt Staver

Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Matt. In the past, he has been the recipient of two (2) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Matt received his B.A. in theology from Southern Missionary College and his M.A in religion from Andrews University, both of which are affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventists.

After receiving his M.A. in religion, Matt decided to leave the second most ethical profession in the country and opted for the first by receiving a law license after he attended the University of Kentucky Law School.

Matt is now the dean of Liberty University Law School, which is one of the most undistinguished and loser law schools in the country.

Matt and his fellow Loons were quite upset when courts in Utah and Oklahoma recently ruled in favor of same-sex marriage.

Matt the phony law professor argued that various governments should just ignore and refuse to enforce court decisions that allow same-sex couples to marry.

During a recent (01/16/14) interview on the Crosstalk Comedy radio show, Matt said that judges “lose their authority” if they rule in favor of marriage equality.

The Loon argued that judges “act as dictators” and must be stopped through a campaign similar to one calling on the A&E Network to lift its suspension of Phil Robertson, the Duck Dynasty star who was suspended for making racist and homophobic comments.

I suppose this Certified Loon would also support a grass roots movement to force state legislators to reinstate laws requiring African-Americans to ride in the back of the bus. Who cares if its declared unconstitutional by those out-of-touch judges, right?

Congrats Matt; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Lunatics”; you are far too humble.

  • Homophobe Award Winner = 1
