Attorney Joseph Carragher, Jr. of Atlanta; ethical misfit

The state of Georgia presented Joseph A. Carragher, Jr. with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Joseph guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Mishandled client funds
  • Misused funds held in his attorney trust account
  • Conduct caused potential injury to his client
  • Withdrew client funds from client trust account under the guise they were loans

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Joseph by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2014), Joseph practices at 3853 Lake Forrest Drive N.E. in Atlanta, Georgia.
