Attorney Hassam Elkhalil of Atlanta; ethical misfit

The state of Georgia presented Hassan Hussein Elkhalil with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Hassam guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a client hired Hassam to represent him and his secretary on charges of identity fraud. The client signed a written fee agreement. However, the client filed a grievance against Hassam, saying he was not properly advised of the fee and that the fee was excessive.

Subsequently, arbitrators ruled that Hassam owed his client $10,273 in fees Hassam wasn’t entitled too.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Hassam by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2014), Hassam practices with Elkhalil Law, P.C. at 1950 North Park Place in Atlanta, Georgia.
