Attorney Anthony Blalock of Raleigh; bully

The state of North Carolina presented Anthony Lamar Blaylock with a law license in 2001

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar charged Tony with the following misconduct.

  • Failed respect the right of others
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

In one matter, Tony was in court representing a client when he came across the police officer who had disputed his client’s version of events.

Tony then became loud and belligerent and argued with the officer. Tony stated in a loud voice, “Officer Edwards are you drunk? Have you been drinking? I can smell alcohol on your breath.”

After he stepped away from Officer Edwards, Tony returned and continued to yell at him. Several people who were in the courtroom at the time could hear Tony’s big mouth.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2014) Tony practices with The Law Office of Anthony L. Blalock, PLLC at 434 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, North Carolina.
