Attorney Morton Minsley of New York City; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Morton Seth Minsley with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Morton guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in gross neglect of a client’s civil case
  • Negotiated settlement of client’s legal malpractice claims against him w/o advising the client to seek independent legal advice
  • Allowed for the statute of limitations on a client’s case to expire

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Morton by gifting him with a complimentary Admonishment.

As we speak (ca. January 2014) Morton practices at 101 Lafayette Street in New York City.
