► Attorney Joseph Morrissey of Henrico, VA; repeat offender

The state of Virginia presented Joseph Dee Morrissey with a law license in 1982 after from Georgetown University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Joe guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
2. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
3. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
4. Disregarded a standing rule of tribunal
5. Committed a crime or other deliberately wrongful act
6. Found guilty of criminal contempt on two separate occasions

As on would suspect, this wasn’t Joey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary suspension and a separate reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Joe by giving him with a second complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. Jan 2014), Joe practices at 605 East Nine Mile Road in Henrico, Virginia.
