The state of Illinois presented William Sonny Shapiro with a law license in 1975.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Mismanaged $58,000 in funds belong to numerous clients
• Neglected various collection lawsuits
• Negligence led to several client cases being dismissed

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (April 2016), Billy practices at 452 North Carlisle Court in Round Lake, Illinois.
