The state of Connecticut provided John Timbers with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Committed a criminal act
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

In one matter, the Easton Police Department began an investigation of an anonymous letter writing campaign. Subsequently, Johnny was asked if he had written the anonymous letters, which he denied. The police obtained a warrant to search Johnny’s home, and they seized evidence concerning the letters.

Subsequently, Johnny was arrested and charged with the misdemeanors of coercion and harassment. Johnny applied for and was granted accelerated rehab in connection with these criminal charges.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Johnny’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. Previously, Johnny received four (4) additional reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct. In addition, Johnny’s law license was suspended on three occasions for one month and on one occasion for six months.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
