Attorney Sean Smith of Roseland, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey presented Sean Alden Smith with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Sean guilty of the following misconduct.

In a matter involving an settlement agreement, Sean agreed to a restriction on a lawyer’s right to practice law in consummating the settlement between the parties.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Sean by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. January 2014) Sean practices with Brach Eichler LLC at 101 Eisenhower Parkway in Roseland, New Jersey.
