The state of New Jersey presented Paul E. Rusen with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Thomas E. Cooley Law School.
The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Paulie failed to safeguard escrow funds by thumbing his nose (disregarding) a $10,000 cap that had been imposed on Paulie’s authority to pay taxes on real estate out of a buyer’s $50,000 escrow deposit.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. January 2014) Paulie practices with Collins & Rusen at 123 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Pike, New Jersey.
