The state of Texas presented Rene Oliveira with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.
The District 12 Grievance Committee found Rene guilty of the following misconduct.
Rene found it acceptable to engage in ex parte communications with a judge without giving notice to and outside the presence of counsel for the opposing party.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished by gifting Rene with a complimentary reprimand
